Hwa Tai Industries Berhad (HTIB) was incorporated in 1974 under the name Hwa Tai Industries Sdn. Bhd. The company was public listed on the Stock Exchange of Kuala Lumpur in 1992. Since then, this fast expanding company has produced a comprehensive range of biscuits which has seen great success through its own comprehensive marketing network coverage in the domestic front as well as the overseas market. HTIB's biscuits are marketed under the trademarks "Hwa Tai", "Luxury", "Lucia" and "Palmers".
